Currently I am doing my year in business placement at Nomura Structured Financial Services Private Limited. I will be moving back to England for my final year in September 2015. Additionally I hold the post of Chairman of the youth wing of HKA. I am passionate about investment banking. In all I wish to pioneer the world of business, philanthropy and politics. My father has been the one person I look up to the most. His advice and support has helped me in every step of life. Truly he has been the driving force for my achievements.

Varun Menon

My name is Varun Menon, I am 24 years of age and have been born and bought up in Mumbai and living in Powai for the last sixteen years. I have completed my Post Graduation from Bradford School of Management (UK). I have specialized my Masters in International Marketing & Management. I am currently working with my Father and trying new ways/strategies in expanding the family business. We are manufacturers of Woven wire mesh/screens and wire mesh conveyor belt. Well the current situation in India is very bad. The domestic market is weakening at a regular pace. And this in turn has made me take decisions where I need some scope of survival. Recently I was in Dubai trying to boost some sales for the business.well I won't say it's a success but a start. Well to know more about me "I am guy who works from Monday to Saturday, chill with friends on Saturday nights and enjoy the company of my family on Sundays. Thank You, Varun Menon.

Myself Sreenu Nair, an electronics engineering graduate, currently seeking knowledge in the field of sound engineering.Music has always been my passion since i was a kid and i'd like to continue that as my profession. I chose this profession knowing the inevitability of a series of struggles and hardships. Life is full of struggles, why j ust sit and wait for it to take a toll of you. I'd rather embrace it and take it as a stepping stone towards success. I passed out from S. M Shetty high school in the year 2008 and was lucky enough to represent my school in various interschool tournaments including chess, football, kabbadi as well as captaining my school cricket team. I was lucky enough to be the sports captain of my school as well as the house captain. Luckily, sports didn't cause too much trouble in my academics since i scored distinction in my 10th grade and 12th grade. I passed my electronics engineering degree from Pillai's institute of information technology with a first class and i feel blessed to have made my parents proud. Currently, i am pursuing sound engineering as my profession and slowly getting into the groove of things. H.K.A is doing a brilliant job by initiating family events. My name is Anjali Gopakumar Pariyarathu, daughter of late Mr. P.K Gopakumar and Mrs. Vanaja Gopakumar. I am currently pursuing my Engineering degree in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication from SIES Graduate School of Technology. I completed my high school form Hiranandani Foundation School. I completed my 11th and 12th from SIES College of Arts, Commerce and Science. I have been placed with Tech Mahindra as of now I am just looking forward to take up this job for experience pupose. I have no future plans as of now, but yes I would want to complete my Masters and then decide on the perfect job. Never give up!! It is the motto of my life. Striving hard to achieve success is my ambition. Apart from these I always believe every child is differently able and God gifted. So am I, God has gifted me voice and grace. I have great passion for singing and dancing. I have performed many stage shows. I am also into games. I love playing basketball. "I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying again" great words said by Michael Jordan. Apart from all these I am a very fun loving, generous, lovable and outspoken girl. I love making new friends. Listening to music and troubling my brother is my favorite past time. I always and will stand up for what is right. I am a very responsible and sincere person. "Time flies, but you are its pilot." I always believe in valuing time. Nobody can just be a role model , but the person who shows you to be one is the real role model. Nobody other than my father fits this title. He has always been there with me through my thick and thin. He was the most fun loving, jovial and best man in the world. I get all my traits from him. He has guided us through all the right ways and always taught us that hard work in life always pays off maybe not now but sometime later. Being happy in the saddest times and keeping others happy is something I have learned from him. He truly is a super hero. I would like to thank everybody who are behind the making of the "Souvenir". Anup Gopakumar

I realize as I write this article that one of the hardest things to do is to explore and explain one's own personality, questioning and examining it. It is easier to think of another's life and character but introspection becomes complex and thought provoking. Hence, of late I cannot agree more with Socrates in that "The unexamined is not worth living". I am Anup Gopakumar, son of late Mr. RK Gopakumar and Mrs. Vanaja Gopakumar. I work as a Financial Analyst with Barclays Investment Banking Services (Mumbai). I am a Computer Science Engineer by degree, graduated in 2012 from BITS - Pilani (Dubai) and certified in various courses in Finance and Investments. Since I believe in fate I feel we all will be where we are destined to be so although I do not have a chalked future plan as such, I intend to do my Masters after gathering a great deal of work experience; significant and material learning. Some words that would aptly describe me apart from loving and caring include: determined, social but shy, respectful, trust-worthy, stubborn, sensitive, reliable and responsible. I enjoy the company of others and I tend to be happy when people around are happy. I value greatly my family and all my friends and am friendly to just about anyone. One thing I am proud of is I try to be reliable; I wouldn't let myself or for that matter anyone else down. I try to give it my all in everything I do and as long as I am sure that I did my best, not always winning or being the best is perfectly fine by me. I enjoy watching movies, hanging out with my pals, travelling, driving etc. Also, I love listening to music and although not trained, I find pleasure when I sing to myself. Ever since I was a kid, I have always looked up to my father and that till date makes him my hero. Wee things he used to say like "Work as much as you can and as hard as you can and leave the results to God", "Hard work always pays off", "Family first" and so on have become principles I try to abide by today His actions, behavior and personality will always be inspirational for me. Becoming even a tad bit like him would be an achievement for me, of course making him my role model. Well that's a great deal about me.
